Responsibilities:
• Assigned weekly and monthly client payroll, sales tax, and bookkeeping projects• Perform general bookkeeping duties, including posting information to accounting software.
• Upload bank and credit card information electronically into QuickBooks
• Perform monthly reconciliations of bank accounts and credit card statements
• Review financial statements for accuracy of assets, liabilities, equity, income, and expenses
• Ability to follow protocols regarding firm procedures
Requirements:
• Knowledge of GAAP and bookkeeping principles
• Strong experience with accounting software (QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online)
• Keen attention to detail and ability to keep records and files organized
• Self-starter with the ability to work with a team
• Strong time management skills and proven ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to identify errors and solve problems
• Decisive and critical thinker
