Interim FP&A Manager role (Bristol):
The FP&A Manager will be responsible for group financial planning, reporting and analysis to the Board and other senior internal and external stakeholders.
This interim contract role will report directly to the Finance Director. The role sits within the FP&A team alongside other Commercial Finance Business Partner roles. The FP&A team works alongside the Financial Accounting and Reporting team to deliver financial support to the business.
Main Duties:
- Preparation of the monthly board pack includes KPI's.
- Co-ordination and consolidation of the Group Budgeting and Forecasting processes.
- Owner of the Group cash-flow forecast.
- Commercial support to group executives specifically focusses on the Senior Management team.
- Lead the year-end preparation of the 'front end' of the financial statements.
- Ensure processes are in place to accurately deliver the MI requirements of the Board, banking relationships, and investors.
- Oversight of Power BI reporting requirements for Group MI.
- Work closely with CFO and Finance Director - FP&A to ensure the group's Value Driver initiatives deliver shareholder value uplifts on time and on plan.
- Continuously improving the business systems and processes.
- Supporting the Finance Director - FP&A with tax planning.
- Working with the Financial Accounting & Reporting Team to ensure MI requirements are met at the period ends.
Skills/Experience/Qualifications:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, CA, ACCA or CIMA).
- At least 2+ years of industry experience.
- Able to add commercial value and contribute ideas.
- Strong Excel skills and experience in Power BI are preferable.
- Excellent oral & written communication, including PowerPoint presentations.
- Strong interpersonal & relationship building skills.
- Resilient, hard-working, ambitious, and always striving to grow and improve.
- Understanding & experience of the hospitality & retail industry is preferable.
- Adaptable in a fast-paced business culture where focus is subject to change at short notice.
- Ownership & accountability of output for your area of the business.
