The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance and Operations analyst to join our team. This role is integral to the efficient management of our financial operations, including billing, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), and reporting. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, good communication skills and the ability to provide actionable insights to senior management.

What you'll be doing
  • Supporting the FP&A Finance Business Partner with developing and maintaining accurate financial forecasting and budgeting models to support both short and long-term planning.
  • Providing proactive, insightful and high-quality analysis to support and influence decision making, in the context of wider business implications, which can be translated into comprehensive materials/commentary for senior stakeholders.
  • Proactively performing variance analysis against budget and forecast to understand the key drivers of business performance.
  • Driving several aspects of management reporting, including performance reporting (can be weekly, monthly, quarterly) and ensuring there is alignment and consistency in outputs and conclusions.
  • Demonstrating a continuous drive to improve quality of management reporting.
  • Taking ownership of the billing process which includes reviewing new and existing customer billing profiles, liaising with relevant teams to update for any changes in billing patterns, ensuring internal controls are maintained for sales invoicing procedures, raising invoices promptly and accurately.
  • Actively monitor the collectability of debtors and provide insight on cash collection targets to senior stakeholders using visualisation tools such as Tableau.
  • Collaborate with other functions (Legal, Marketing and Sales) to both ensure incorporation of specific knowledge from different areas of the business to financial models and ensure consistency of reporting across function.
  • Actively contribute to a high-performing team while taking ownership of your personal growth and development to become a well-rounded finance professional.


What we would like to see from your application
  • Part qualified accountant and/or prior experience in financial analysis, management reporting gained in a corporate environment.
  • Prior experience with sales invoicing and familiarity with billing systems such as Workday or similar platforms is highly preferred.
  • Comfortable in working in a fast-paced, high impact and dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, strong numerical analysis capabilities with an attention to detail and the ability to understand commercial dynamics.
  • A key requirement is to interpret financial and business data in a commercial context, identify relevant information required for your role, and determine which insights should be highlighted or require senior colleagues' guidance.
  • A good relationship builder who can support and challenge colleagues from different functions constructively and effectively.
