A fantastic opportunity for a Head of M&A to join our Finance team
With a salary £85k and generous car allowance, this role wlll be predominantly based out of our Nursery Support Centre in Denton, Manchester, with regular travel.

You will build a strong pipeline of high-quality, profitable nurseries, targeting 20-25 acquisitions per year. Your efforts will ensure sustainable EBITDA through the integration period, delivering expected returns.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Analysing financial data of potential acquisition targets.
- Developing and maintaining financial models.
- Reviewing financial statements and key performance indicators.
- Understanding fee reviews, salary rates, and other key contracts.
- Supporting the due diligence process and project management.
- Ensuring all data from vendors is accurate and complete.
- Preparing reports for board approval and monthly updates during integration.
- Managing correspondence and office systems, including filing and data management.
- Planning and organising meetings as required.
- Producing documents, reports, and presentations, including business cases.
- Communicating projects with the wider organisation.
- Regularly updating key operational stakeholders.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Qualified Accountant
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience in business development and/or project delivery in the early years sector.
- Previous support experience for a senior manager
- Proficiency in financial modelling and due diligence
- Strong time management and prioritisation skills
- Proficient in Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
