This role, working with an Energy business with an International footprint, will see you work closely with the Finance Director to help oversee effective financial transaction processing, assurance of necessary compliance with statutory and regulatory financial requirements, relevant and timely financial management information and analysis, financial control, and advice and guidance for effective business management.

You will also be responsible for a team of up to 10 people, occasionally be required for international travel to other sites and personally, see your career accelerate!



Responsibilities:


• Overseeing Financial Reporting: Ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reports in compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Budgeting and Forecasting: Developing and managing budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis to guide financial planning and decision-making.

• Internal Controls and Compliance: Establishing and maintaining internal control systems to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

• Cash Flow Management: Monitoring and managing the company's cash flow to ensure liquidity and financial stability.

• Financial Analysis: Conducting detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement, providing insights to senior management.

• Team Leadership: Leading and managing the finance team, including training, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
