An acquisitive business in Preston have tripled their revenue in the last 2 years, and with further growth forecasted they are now in a position to recruit a new senior finance professional.

The ideal candidate will be ACCA or ACA qualified, with a background within Accountancy Practice and recent industry experience. Duties within this new role will combine technical accounting and commercial input to aid decision making.

Your New Role as Senior Finance Manager:

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, as Senior Finance Manager responsibilities will include:

Producing year end statutory accounts
Leading the external audit process, liaising with external auditors
Involvement in M&A activity
Production/review of the management accounts pack
Preparation of budgets and forecasts
Leading process/system improvements
Provision of ad hoc reports and analysis as required

Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:

To be considered, you will be ACCA or ACA qualified, trained in Accountancy Practice with industry experience also, ideally with experience in a larger business structure. Strong technical accounting capabilities are essential, including year end and audit experience and you will be analytically minded, comfortable with large data volumes.
