Harvey Nash is now inviting candidates to apply for the role of Payroll Adviser, this is a fixed term contract running until the end of June 2025.

Hybrid working between home and our client's location in Glasgow, salaried position of £31,000 - £34,000 depending on experience.

You will be responsible for helping to ensure all policies, processes and procedures relating to payroll and employment tax are reviewed and maintained in line with legislative changes, supporting the Payroll and Pensions Manager in all aspects of providing an excellent payroll and pensions service to around 4,000 employees.

Essential Requirements for the role:

• Significant knowledge of statutory regulations regarding P.A.Y.E, NIC, Statutory payments and salary sacrifice schemes.
• Working knowledge of integrated payroll systems to ensure that payments and deductions are calculated correctly.
• Experience of effectively communicating Payroll matters to non-subject matter experts.
• Extensive experience of working within a complex payroll function.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to cope with changing priorities, multiple tasks and deliver to tight deadlines.
