The Role

The PTP Analyst will support the PTP Team leaders in all appropriate tasks within the department, maintaining high accuracy standards, and attention to detail within data entry.

The PTP Analyst will be responsible for all of the processing aspects of PTP tasks, including but not limited to, Payments, Cash Posting, Document transmission and reporting, all delivered by careful adherence to process. Ensuring the department operates efficiently through the accurate and timely processing of PTP activities, with all queries (internal and external) addressed promptly and thoroughly to ensure that accurate and up-to-date accounting information is kept for the Accounts Payable function.

What You’ll Do Day To Day

  • Process all payments in a timely manner and in line with current Inchcape compliance and DOA.
  • Ensure cash is posted and allocated accurately on a daily basis.
  • Monitor housekeeping activities e.g. payments on account and aged balances.
  • Ensure all received documents are reviewed and transmitted to relevant teams in a timely and accurate manner for processing.
  • Key point of contact for business stakeholder relationships.
  • Ensure resolution of internal / external Customer / Supplier issues
  • Highlight any identified risks in processes and controls and report / present them to others together with options to mitigate risks.
  • Subject matter expert in PTP/Accounts Payable function to ensure depth of knowledge

Helpful Skills & Qualifications

  • Experienced in an Accounts Payable/PTP environment with 2+ years’ experience
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships; evidence of service that prioritises, meets and exceeds customer expectations.
  • Able to work using own initiative and towards pre-agreed targets.
  • Ability to manage & coordinate processes.
  • Able to evidence pride and enthusiasm for product and brand.
  • Sets high standard for self and others; works effectively in partnership with all colleagues, supporting with actions that secure achievement of business objectives
  • Ability to adapt and learn new tools and techniques, as well as a willingness to embrace opportunities for change.
