This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Accounts Senior / Accounts Executive to join a thriving Top 20 firm based in Manchester City Centre.

With over 150 staff, the firm delivers a first-class service to a diverse range of clients, locally, nationally and internationally.

The Accounts Senior responsibilities include:

•Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts assignments for a variety of clients, including limited companies, academies and charities, both in the office and out at client premises
•Assisting with adhoc grant audits
•Assistance with adhoc small charity audits and accounts (training can be provided on this area)
•Completing year-end financial statements and tax computations in a timely manner
•Monitor your progress against the timetable and budget, keeping your manager informed of progress and any significant matters that arise
•Make suggestions for improvement / amendments to both the assignment approach and client system and processes

Essential Requirements:

•Experience gained in a similar role within accountancy practice
•ACA / ACCA qualified or studying
•Ability to work as part of a team and offer support and training to less experienced team members
