AVA are supporting an international operator who are currently investing heavily across the UK renewables market. They are looking for a VP of Financial Planning & Reporting to build out and scale up their Finance function.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain long term financial models for the business.
• Monitor, analyse, and report on performance against KPIs and plans, providing timely, accurate financial and operational information to senior management.
• Supervise the preparation and reporting of financial performance scorecards.
• To lead business planning and forecasting, ensuring budget and forecast consolidation aligns with business requirements and Group Finance standards.
• To oversee the consolidated management reporting process for both financial and operational aspects.
• Build out a long term strategy and team.

Experience

• Minimum 8 years across senior roles within FP&A, Accounting or Finance in large & complex organisations
• Relevant professional certification (Chartered Accountant or Certified Public Accountant)
• Practical experience working in either wind, solar or battery storage industries
• Have worked in a scale up business prior
• Extensive knowledge of financial analysis techniques and tools
• Financial modelling for long-life, infrastructure projects and commercial tenders.
