Senior Accountant [T500-12242]

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs senior level accounting tasks
Ensure the transactions of the business have been properly accounted for and accurately reflected in the financial statements
Analyze financial data and use independent judgment for purposes of identifying variances, when possible, resolving accounting operating system issues, compiling statistical information, and developing procedures to improve current processes
Research a wide variety of financial topics to provide information or recommendations that impact the organizations operations
Responsible for general ledger entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and practices
Conform and adhere to internal controls over accounting procedures as set forth by upper management
Interfaces frequently with various levels within the organization

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of a bachelor's degree in accounting / finance
Experience with PDI Enterprise Strongly preferred
Thorough understanding of GAAP
Proficient in the utilization of Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Word and Outlook)
Can demonstrate excellence in preparing Monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
Experience completing detailed accounting schedules
Detail oriented with excellent time management skills
