We are seeking an FP&A Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will analyze and develop business information, offer strategic advice to management at all levels, and support the broader team. Additionally, you will provide analytical support for external reporting

MAIN FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

To assist in the managing of planning and analysis activities bytaking responsibility for providing analytical support to operating business units and senior management, as well as making recommendations regarding key financial, operating and marketing issues. This will assist the business in improving operational efficiency and to support strategic projects.

MAIN DUTIES:
  • Business partnering with the marketing, operational and F&B teams:
    • Analysis of labour metrics, providing key insights into potential under/over staffing issues.
    • Support and Analysis of marketing campaigns and promotions, with recommendations.
    • Review of F&B business across revenue, COGs and labour.
    • Build and review KPIs for each area.
  • Support weekly trading meetings by building and developing financial metrics and reports to accurately track business performance.
  • Assisting department Head on projects and strategic priorities.
  • Preparation of materials and presentations for senior management, board, owners and other stakeholders.
  • Support weekly financial forecasting and Executive Management Team Report process, including liaison with operational leaders and reporting to senior management and owners.
  • Financial and operational modelling of potential development and capital projects.
  • Accurate tracking and reporting of capital expenditure, cash flow and working capital.
  • Trend analysis and KPI reporting, with recommendations.
  • Provision of clear analysis for investment appraisal purposes including the use of NPV and DCF calculations.
  • Assistance with the coordinating and compilation of the annual budget and capital expenditure plan.
  • Ensuring compliance with company internal controls, standards, policies and procedures.
  • Continuous improvement of finance and analytics reporting and process, working with Business Intelligence department on systems and data improvements.
  • Limited work supporting Management Accountants on month end deadlines.
  • Ad hoc duties and projects when required.

REQUIRED SKILLS
  • Upbeat and positive attitude.
  • Hardworking and ambitious.
  • Excellent Excel skills, comfortable with all basic and advanced data manipulation formulas. Able to produce simple models quickly and methodically.
  • Good communication skills with peers and superiors.
  • Great organisation skills to manage several different workstreams at the same time.
  • Qualified Accountant - ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
  • Substantial progressive analytical experience in a planning and/or finance environment.
  • Strong customer service, problem-solving, communication, managerial and organisational skills.
  • Good commercial awareness and understanding of competitor threats.
  • Must be able to work independently in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior management.

DESIRED (but not necessary) SKILLS
  • Experience in a Casino Operation.
  • Knowledge of PowerBi
