We are looking for a talented Accountant to join a well-established, modern, and growing accountancy practice in Rutland. You will play an integral part of the team delivering a range of commercial and accounting services to a wide range of clients throughout the UK.

You could be an experienced accountant / Bookkeeper, or you could be an accounts assistant looking to take the next step in your career. The company have nice modern offices and a great culture.

The Accountant job will involve:

• Become a key point of contact for clients and develop these relationships further
• Manage bookkeeping for clients
• Tracking and monitoring financial transactions for a number of different clients
• Assist in the preparation of VAT returns
• Responsibility for providing year-end statutory accounts and CT returns
• The use of Xero and Receipt banking and other accountancy software

This Accountant job will suit:

• Previous experience working in an accountancy practice is essential for this role
• AAT/CIMA/ACA/ACCA or similar accountancy qualifications would be greatly beneficial
• Previous experience with bookkeeping or accountancy
• Strong Excel knowledge
• Analytical mindset, capable of identifying any inconsistencies

This job is commutable from Rutland, Oakham, Melton Mowbray, Stamford and the surrounding areas
