The Role

Reporting directly to, and working closely with, the partners, you will be a senior member of a dynamic team advising mid-market businesses and their owners and management considering a range of transactions including MBO’s, acquisitions, disposals and growth capital/debt funding predominantly in the £10m to £100m deal size range. The person appointed will become the central day to day point of contact for all parties involved in the transaction and will need to understand and take ownership of key aspects of a transaction including drafting of Information Memoranda, modelling and project management/deal execution.

The Person

The successful candidate will be a high performer with a strong academic background and at least three years lead advisory corporate finance experience within a major accountancy practice, corporate finance boutique or investment bank. For candidates with strong relevant experience, ACA/ACCA qualification is not essential. We are looking for the exceptional work ethic, commercial awareness, and strong analytical skills as well as the ability to work to tight reporting deadlines. Strong verbal and written communication skills are vital along with the ability to quickly build relationships based on trust with a wide range of people including business owners and other professionals. Working as part of a small team on a strong and consistent deal flow and closely with highly experienced partners, there will be the opportunity to gain significant corporate finance experience and rapid career progression including partnership potential for the right candidate.
