Fletchers Solicitors Ltd have a fantastic opportunity to join our growing Team.

In the role you would be responsible for the financial administration of one of the Group’s subsidiary financial accounts. Be the point of contact for the wider finance team in preparing weekly and daily reconciliations of the Fletchers Group purchase order data. Rectifying any discrepancies and bring systems up to date across our range of suppliers.

The role is perfect for someone who is actively studying CIMA, ACCA or QBE, has advance excel skills with great attention to detail, who is looking for development in a supportive and innovative environment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Posting banking transactions into Xero accounts for Medical Law pagination services.
  • Monitoring Medical law suppliers and raising payments where necessary for approval by Head of financial reporting on the bank.
  • Assisting with the overall month end close of Medical Law accounts; accruals prepayments, payroll journals.
  • Key contact for credit card administration, management of monthly statement collation, posting of credit card journals for the Group.
  • Examining discrepancies between purchase order records and supplier statements
  • Cross-referencing third party data to case management system
  • Analysis of ledger balances
  • Collaborating with various stakeholders across the business to resolve variances
  • Identifying process improvements and opportunities for automation
  • Control implementation as a result of reconciliation findings
  • Other Ad hoc requirements as necessary

Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Active CIMA/ACCA studier or QBE.
  • Forward thinking with an analytical approach when reviewing data
  • Advanced excel skills (Match, Lookups, Sumifs, Pivot tables)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively and partner with both internal and external stakeholders

Desirable Skills and Experience:
  • Use of case management system
