Accounts Administrator - 6 Month FTC - Full-time Office Based in Malvern
We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Accounts Administrator to join our client's team immediately on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This role is fully office-based and offers a 35-hour work week from Monday to Friday. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a structured environment and are proficient in managing a wide range of accounting tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Fees Management Support:
Preparation of school fee bills and sales ledger support.
Handling queries related to fee billing via telephone and email.
Processing adjustments including bursaries, scholarships, and concessions.
Managing extra charges for school activities, ensuring accurate billing.
Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with financial policies.
Purchase Ledger Support
Setting up and maintaining supplier accounts.
Managing supplier communication regarding invoices and payments.
Ensuring accurate VAT application and compliance with payment terms.
Performing bank reconciliations and managing the expenses system.
Safeguarding Responsibilities
Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young persons you come into contact with.
Report any safeguarding concerns to the designated authority promptly.
Skills And Experience Required
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other IT systems.
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Strong team player with the ability to also work independently.
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
