Business area and team
The Client Delivery organization provides implementation, upgrade and advisory services to our clients, working collaboratively with our sales organization to accelerate customer acquisition and engaging proactively with our existing clients on new opportunities. The business unit is focused on guiding our clients to adopt best practices and implement our standard solutions, ultimately enabling our customers to maximize their return on investment.
The Role
The Head of Delivery is a global senior leadership position responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of projects and services across a geographically dispersed organization. They act as a central figure, ensuring all delivery teams around the world are aligned, efficient, and meeting client expectations.

The Head of Delivery is a global senior leadership position responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of projects and services across a geographically dispersed organization. They act as a central figure, ensuring all delivery teams around the world are aligned, efficient, and meeting client expectations.
Key responsibilities
Strategic Delivery Leadership:
- Develop and implement a global delivery strategy: This strategy should align with the organization's overall business objectives and ensure consistent delivery excellence across all regions.
- Set performance goals and KPIs: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the delivery function and track progress towards strategic goals.
- Standardize delivery processes and methodologies: Implement consistent delivery methodologies across all delivery teams globally to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Identify and manage global delivery risks: Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks associated with delivering projects and services in different regions.
Global Team Management and Leadership:
- Lead and mentor regional delivery managers: Provide guidance and support to regional delivery managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing global delivery team.
- Resource Management: Manage and allocate resources effectively across all delivery teams, ensuring the right people are assigned to the right projects.
- Talent Development: Invest in the development of the global delivery workforce, focusing on building skills and expertise to meet evolving client needs.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement: Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the delivery function, encouraging innovation and best practice sharing across regions.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients: Develop strong relationships with major clients, ensuring their needs are understood and met consistently across global delivery teams.
- Manage client expectations: Effectively communicate timelines, budgets, and project scope to clients, managing their expectations throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Resolve client issues and escalations: Address client concerns promptly and effectively, ensuring their satisfaction with the delivery process.
Additional
Responsibilities:
- Budget Management: responsible for managing the global delivery budget, PNL, allocating resources efficiently, and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Partner Management: Manage relationships with system integration partners and service providers that support delivery initiatives.
- Reporting and Analytics: Track and analyse key delivery metrics to identify trends, measure performance, and inform strategic decision-making.

- Building a highly skilled and knowledgeable global delivery workforce.
- Creating a positive and engaging work environment for delivery team members.
- Ensuring delivery teams have the competencies and motivation to consistently deliver exceptional results for clients.
Required Education and Experience
- Extensive experience in project or service delivery management, ideally in a global setting.
- Extensive experience in the financial services industry, highly preferable within capital markets.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and motivating high-performing delivery teams.
- Strong understanding of different delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinking and business acumen.
- Ability to travel internationally as needed.
