Position Overview

RecruitGo is in search of an Accounting Lead who will be working with our client based in New York City, USA. Our client is an accounting firm. In this role, you will be responsible for standard bookkeeping, monthly closing tasks, and people management.

Aside from your established skills and expertise, we are also looking for a proactive individual who can work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.



Responsibilities:

• Performing standard bookkeeping and monthly closing tasks: bank postings in QuickBooks and Xero, reconciliation of bank accounts, reconciliation of other balance sheet accounts, bills and invoices processing, accrual analysis and adjusting entries, prepaid and fixed asset amortization and reconciliation, review of financial statements for accuracy.
• Prepare financial statement analysis for presentation to the clients.
• Prepare P&L and cash forecasts for various clients.
• Develop and maintain financial KPIs for various clients.
• Meet with clients to discuss process improvements or financial results.
• Review, oversight, and delegation of work to the staff and senior accountants on the team.
• Training of new and existing staff as needed.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and process gaps and implement remediation plans.
• Manage updates to SOP documentation for all client and internal processes used by the team.
• Perform and document accounting research to ensure proper application of accounting guidelines.
• Support the implementation of financial software for clients and the firm.
• Other projects and tasks might be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

• 7 years of experience in financial reporting with a focus on month-end closing
• 3 years of supervisory experience
• 3 years of BPO experience
• 1 year of experience working the night shift
• CPA license
• Accounting degree

• Salary Range: Php 80,000 to 85,000
• Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM PH time
• Work Set up: Remote
