Resourcery Group is proud to support a reputable and established organisation in Lancashire, currently seeking a Finance Business Partner to join their team. As a Finance Business Partner, this is an exciting opportunity for a Part Qualified or Qualified accountant looking for development in a supportive and innovative environment. In this role, you will provide commercial insights to the Management team across the organisation to optimise and challenge financial performance and drive improvements while providing insightful reports.

The role will involve:

• Producing monthly management accounts
• Preparing annual budgets and forecasts, and working across the organisation to support budget holders
• Posting and reconciling journals, accruals, and prepayments
• Preparing balance sheet account reconciliations
• Producing accurate and relevant reports to assist with key decision-making
• Developing reports and processes to ensure they are fit for purpose
• Providing ad hoc reporting requirements as and when required
• Undertaking ad hoc duties related to capital project work, etc.
• Deputising for the Senior Finance Business Partner as and when required

You will need to have the following skills:

• A strong background in Management Accounts with the ability to interpret large data sets
• Excellent Excel skills (Intermediate to Advanced)
• Ability to use other reporting platforms such as PowerBI
• Ability to build strong relationships with non-finance individuals
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and negotiate with both internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
