Kenton Black Finance have partnered exclusively with a well-established manufacturing business on the Fylde Coast as they look to appoint a new Assistant Management Accountant for one of their smaller divisions. This privately owned business has been succeeding for over 50 years, designing and supplying to a global market.
This is a varied role which includes routine accounting duties as well as project involvement relating to implementing new processes to streamline and enhance existing ways of working within finance.

Your New Role as Assistant Management Accountant:
This role reports into the Managing Director for the division, with extensive support from the Group Head of Finance who has worked for the business for 20+ years. Working in a friendly team, as Assistant Management Accountant your duties will include:
Reviewing existing processes and systems, identifying any areas for improvement and implementing these
Support in the preparation of the monthly management accounts pack
Posting journals, accruals and prepayments
Balane sheet reconciliations
Support with quarterly VAT returns
Maintenance of the fixed asset register
Assist with cash flow forecast preparation
Support with the delivery of the annual budgets and customer forecasts
Project involvement including budgetary control and tracking/reporting on project spend
Assist with stock taking from a financial perspective
Liaise with non-financial managers to deliver financial insight and advise as required
KPI reporting
Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:
The successful candidate will be proven in a similar remit to include producing accounts and working cross-functionally with various stakeholders. Strong analytical capabilities are required with proven ability to implement improved processes and systems.
