Key Responsibilities
As the Senior Director, Managed Payroll Services UK&I, your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and implement strategic plans for the UK&I payroll function in alignment with managed services objectives and company goals.
- Provide leadership and direction to the UK&I payroll teams, ensuring the function is an industry leader in colleague performance and professional development.
- Work closely with Product to inform and influence strategy for technology development to keep the company at the forefront of payroll services innovation
- Accountable for the overall UK&I MS Profit and Loss account and delivery of functional OKRs and KPIs
- Oversee the management of UK&I payroll services teams, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing.
- Set and implement best practices for payroll processes, compliance, and reporting.
- Overall accountability for UK&I MS colleague and management development and effectiveness
- Identify and implement innovative solutions that deliver process efficiencies and present quantitative/qualitative ROI justifications.
- Ensure UK&I MS customer processes are effective and closely aligned to IRIS Customer Services
- Escalation point for unresolved payroll/pension-related issues to ensure they are resolved promptly and effectively.
- Overall accountability for customer satisfaction and retention KPIs
- Operational responsibility in the pursuit of new business opportunities.
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to promote the company's services and expand the client base.
- Key contributor to M&A investment case development and realisation
Knowledge and Experience
- Proven experience in payroll management, preferably within the Payroll Managed Services industry.
- Strong understanding of UK&I payroll regulations and HMRC guidelines.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, including the ability to interact effectively with people with diverse styles; make informed decisions, find solutions, encourage andsupport change; and, to constructively deal with conflicts and leverage different perspectives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Innovative thinker able to make decisions independently and expeditiously; and, to translate strategy into action.
- Ability to perform and delegate in fast-paced, high-pressure situations.
- Takes initiative and uses good judgment, excellent follow-up skills.
- A proven track record of driving transformational and cultural change
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
