Job Description
Equifind are excited to have joined up with a real estate investment firm in London, who are looking for a finance reporting manager to join the business, to assist them during a time of transition and over the year-end period.
We’re looking for a finance reporting manager, who comes from an audit trained background and has a strong interest in financial reporting, who can integrate with a broad team.
You will be a key member of the wider finance team from the word go and support the Head of Finance on all commercial reporting aspects.

A real estate investment firm that has a core focus on the student accommodation space. The firm is on the up and there is a real hunger about acquisitions across the globe. There is a real desire to be one of the market leaders in this sector.
The business has a very entrepreneurial feel, and its flexibility gives it a real advantage in the market. It operates internationally so when a good opportunity arises it can go after it.
You will work closely with the head of finance with the daily and monthly duties a primary focus, in addition to any process enhancements to improve the day-to-day reporting framework.
The business operates a very flexible working arrangement with two days being office based and the remaining three days WFH.
Daily Rate
This finance reporting manager opportunity in London will pay in the region of £350-£450 per day depending on experience and industry background. We will also look at candidates that prefer FTC at the £75-85k level.
This will be 6 months’ work with an opportunity to go permanent if you are keen and prove a great fit.

We’re looking for a finance reporting manager, who comes from an audit trained background and has a strong interest in financial reporting, who can integrate with a broad team.
You will be a key member of the wider finance team from the word go and support the Head of Finance on all commercial reporting aspects.
Key duties and responsibilities for this financial reporting manager position include:
- Have responsibility for the monthly financial reporting through preparation of monthly accounting packs with variance analysis
- Management of service providers
- Responsible for the tax compliance - VAT, CIS, P11Ds and liaising with tax advisors
- Preparation of the consolidated accounts
- Preparation of intercompany reports
- Preparation of group consolidation, statutory accounts, and consolidated accounts
- Prepare the management and fund reporting packs
- Support the development and documentation of business processes and accounting policies to build a rigorous internal control environment
- Preparation of the year-end audits and be a contact point for queries from the auditors
- Support the wider finance team as and when needed
- Assist with various projects and ad hoc work
Experience & Qualifications
- Fully Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 2-4 years PQE (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Experience of working within the real estate or student accommodation sectors is beneficial
- Strong audit background
- Strong working knowledge of UK GAAP
- Experience of Yardi would be advantageous
- Strong excel systems experience
- Be a self-starter and deliver reports in a timely and accurate manner
