The Recruitment Co are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant / Senior Accounts Assistant for their Accountancy Practice client based in Arbroath.

Pay: £28,000 - £35,000 Depending on Experience



Location:
Arbroath

Hours: Monday - Thursday 8am - 6pm

Duties:

• To plan accounts, ensuring that accurate resources are used, in a timely manner to ensure internal and external deadlines are met.
• To prepare and review client accounts accurately to review stage, preparing clearly laid out explanatory notes to accompany accounts.
• To support the delivery of client accounts and tax returns as required, ensuring that support is provided to Managers and that work completed is carried out according to best practice.
• To follow up and manage any queries with the client in order to ensure that all relevant information and data is included in the final version.
• To support the delivery of client audits as required, ensuring that support is provided to Managers and that work completed is carried out according to best practice.
• To raise any audit queries with a relevant manager, ensuring the identification of risk and stating mitigation for identified risk.
• To ensure rigorous adherence to HMRC and other legislative requirements at all points during client delivery
• Attend, participate and contribute to meetings with clients

Required Skills:

• Minimum 2 Years experience within an Accounts Assistant Role
• Experience within an Accountancy Practice - Essential
• Excellent attention to detail
• Proficient in using accounting software packages, such as Sage or Xero
