A little bit about our team:
The Tax Department is responsible for the Warner Music Group tax reporting and compliance around the world.
Your role:
- Work alongside the VP, Tax to lead on all aspectsof UK corporation tax, withholding tax and employment tax compliance. This includes managing deadlines and relevant stakeholders
- Work with the VP, Tax (UK) and Tax Manager (UK) to handle UK aspects of US GAAP tax reporting on a quarterly and annual basis
- Assist in Pillar 2 modelling and implementation
- Work closely with Finance Teams to source information and provide tax input, where necessary
- Assist in running transfer pricing calculations
- Advise local controllers and finance business partners on tax (both in the UK and globally) and provide timely and informed responses to various internal queries regarding tax matters (in particular withholding tax and employment tax queries)
- Recommend, edit and review of intercompany agreements and other documentation for legal drafting
- Assist with global M&A activity, where required
- Optimally connect with advisors in various territories
- Supervise and analyze existing and proposed regulatory changes and developments related to UK and global tax and advise on potential business impact
About you:
- 8+ years of prior relevant UK tax experience with a large public accounting firm and/or large multinational corporation
- Good knowledge of UK corporation tax and UK employment tax compliance processes
- Strong Excel and Word skills
- Excellent written & oral communication
- Analytical experience, running information and presenting appropriate recommendations
- Ability to work collaboratively with other team members and partners
- Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously
