About the role
Ecclesiastical, who are proudly part of the Benefact Group, are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Gloucester office with hybrid working on a 6 month contract.
This position involves working closely with our finance department to support us on a Finance transformation project to optimise and improve our processes and procedures.

- Facilitate the business area in defining exactly what needs to be delivered to reach the target outcome
- Ensure key stakeholders are aligned around clear definitions of the target outcome, scope, objectives and business impact
- Support the construction of the business case to ensure the proposed work is financially viable
- Define the parameters for baselining business performance and measuring benefits realisation
- Document and hand over key features required to be taken forward into implementation by Group Technology
- Ownership of key work streams delivering to project/programme board level
- Evidence of alignment to the achievement of strategic themes
- Will seek external views, trends and research to support analysis and recommendations
- Process analysis completed in line with desired process architecture
- Delivering work autonomously
- Stakeholder Management at Senior Level
- Builds and maintains stakeholders relationships wider than allocated work
- Previous experience working in Accounting/Finance (Qualified preferential)
- Previous experience working on a transformation project
- Confident and influential communicator
- Strong organisation skills
- Proficient in analysing the underlying issues
- Keeps overall objectives and strategies in mind
- Can quickly understand the working business model and the desired target state
- Ability to establish and maintain relationships with people from across business areas
- Excellent organisational and problem solving capabilities
- Proven experience in the analysis role on complex/large projects
- Experience of working conceptually
- Keeps commercial aspects continually in mind when taking actions or making decisions
- Understands and applies methods and techniques for preparing and presenting business cases
