The firm are looking to hire a Chief of Staff who will be London based. This is an incredibly unique opportunity that will best suit someone with an entrepreneurial mindset, strong business development skills and an ability to analyse deal opportunities from a commercial perspective. What the job involves

As Chief of Staff, you will be a central and connecting figure in supporting the firm's founder, facilitating business operations, nurturing their community, and working directly with the executive team. Reporting to the CEO, this role demands someone who can think strategically across potential deal projects and business opportunities and harness the full potential of networking.

  • Attend meetings alongside the founder and project manage next steps with the CEO, investment and operations teams
  • Utilise networking opportunities, and evaluate potential business ventures, including for both non-profit and for-profit initiatives
  • Produce detailed reports on active deals, covering status, outcomes, activities and next steps
  • Ensure the CRM system is maintained. You will need to navigate the database in order to facilitate connections
  • Collaborate closely with the wider firm and different teams, ensuring relevant information is delivered to the right people and projects and managed accordingly
Who we are looking for

  • Experience in an analytical role within a private markets firm or investment bank, or in areas such as business development, strategic operations, or as a previous Chief of Staff
  • Exceptional organisational skills with a proactive approach, adept at time management, prioritisation, and handling multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Research-oriented, with a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a focus on data-driven decision-making
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building and nurturing relationships and effectively engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • High emotional intelligence, with the ability to understand, connect with, and respond empathetically to people in various interactions
  • Working knowledge of CRMs or similar databases would be highly beneficial
  • Willingness to travel periodically
