This role could be based in either our Wythall or London offices with time spent working in the office and at home.

The role
We’re currently recruiting for a Corporate Tax Manager to join our Tax Reporting Team in Wythall (or London) to manage tax reporting within our group, support projects, and apply technical & business knowledge to aid senior management decision making.
The role will be responsible for:
- Managing the non-life UK tax reporting process for the group and statutory accounts and the group consolidation process. The non-life entities in the group comprise holding companies, companies providing financing to operating entities, service companies and small trading and investment companies;
- Managing the timetable and deliverables tracking for the quarterly reporting processes under UK GAAP, SII and IFRS.
- Dealing with audit enquiries in relation to the non-life entities and group consolidation process;
- Managing group-wide tax reporting requirements such as group relief;
- Supporting the Head of Tax Reporting on tax forecasting, payments on account and intra-group cashflow management
- Providing input into projects and support to the business on matters involving the above entities; and
- Working with and supporting the development of junior and less experienced members of the team
What are we looking for?
An individual who:
- Is motivated and dynamic individual with strong accounting, tax accounting and tax technical knowledge;
- Has strong interpersonal skills and an ability and desire to work collaboratively both within the tax team and the wider finance and business environment;
- Has strong excel and IT skills including a willingness and desire to learn new skills in this area e.g. Alteryx/Power BI;
- Has strong time management and organisational skills and the ability to deliver under pressure.
- A background that includes:
- Undergraduate Degree (or equivalent)
- Professional qualification in tax (e.g. CTA) or accountancy (e.g. CA, ACA or ACCA).
- Significant (c.3-5) years experience in “large corporates” tax reporting environment, either in-house or in professional services firm auditing large corporates.
