Risk and Controls Analyst
Job Summary:To support and co-ordinate activities involving operational risk and controls and intragroup services
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Risk and Controls:
- Assist in developing and executing on an annual assessment and improvement plan for controls within the COO functions. Controls to be reviewed may include but not limited to:
- Previous audit & incident controls marked as closed
- Controls self-attested as operating
- Key controls and governance in COO function policies
- Intragroup Services:
- Support in developing and maintaining an Intragroup procedure/framework
- In collaboration with the Procurements team, support the review of the Intragroup policy
- Co-ordinate annual review of Intragroup agreements and ensure they are relevant with current company practice and in line with relevant regional regulatory requirements (such as CBI, PRA, FCA, MAS, US regulators and any other applicable regulators)
- Close collaboration with service owners in gathering periodic KPI performance data from relevant functions across Beazley
- Assist in the MI production of relevant service level reports to appropriate committees

- Undertake training on Beazley policies and procedures as delivered by your line manager, the Culture & People or assurance teams (Compliance, Risk, Internal Audit) either directly, via e- learning or the learning management system

- Comply with any specific responsibilities necessary for your role as outlined by your line manager, the Culture & People or assurance teams (Compliance, Risk, Internal Audit) and ensure you keep up to date with developments in these areas. This may include, amongst others, Beazley standards and customer relationship management
- Carry out additional responsibilities as individually notified, either through your objectives or through the learning management system. These may include membership of any Beazley committees or working groups
