Payroll Supervisor - Company:

Our client is a leading Real Estate group operating in London. They offer a comprehensive range of property services, including block management, commercial/residential (BTR) and financial services. Managing a vast portfolio of residential and commercial units across most of London, they are committed to delivering exceptional service with integrity.

Payroll Supervisor -

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire process of preparing monthly payrolls for both the organisation and its clients.
  • Ensure timely and accurate payment of employees, adhering to statutory, legislative, and contractual guidelines.
  • Review and validate payroll data to guarantee completeness and accuracy.
  • Reconcile critical pay components to maintain precise year-to-date balances.
  • Assist in updating and maintaining the departmental instruction manual and process documentation.
  • Manage the prompt and accurate enrolment and payment of pension contributions to all pension providers for the organisation and its clients, in compliance with statutory and legislative requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Pay and Benefits team to provide expert advice and support on pay and benefit matters across the organisation.
  • Ensure all payroll systems are current and operating efficiently.


Payroll Supervisor - Requirements:
  • Experience in supervising a payroll team, providing guidance and support.
  • Proven ability to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll in line with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Strong skills in reviewing and verifying payroll data for completeness and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of maintaining payroll records and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Ability to address and resolve payroll-related inquiries and issues from employees and management.
  • Experience in preparing and submitting payroll reports to management.
  • Proficiency in ensuring payroll systems is up-to-date and functioning properly.
  • Ability to collaborate with HR and Finance departments for accurate employee data and financial reporting.
  • Experience in assisting with the development and implementation of payroll policies and procedures.
  • Skills in conducting regular audits of payroll procedures and records.


Payroll Supervisor - Package:


  • Salary:
    £35,000 to £40,000.
  • Monday to Friday - 09:00 to 17:00, initially onsite but room to grow into a hybrid role.
  • Location is South West London, must be within commuting distance.
