The Opportunity

La Fosse is looking for an experienced Senior Credit Controller to join the customer care team on an initial fixed-term basis.

Requirements
  • Responsible for meeting targets in monthly receivables and keeping bad debt to a minimum.
  • Liaise with sales Account Managers regarding overdue/disputed accounts.
  • Disputes review on a weekly basis with escalation to account managers and directors as appropriate.
  • Highlighting high risk, in advance and monitor and analyse customer payment trends and credit risk.
  • Assessment of credit worthiness of potential and existing customers including determining credit limits and payment terms
  • To create new client accounts and set up onto system Banking and cash allocation onto system when required.
  • Reconciliation and allocation. - ability to reconcile accounts
  • Chairing team meetings, where required.
  • Responsible for issuing pre-final emails before action and notifying Client Care team leaders.
  • Involvement in projects to aid overall business goal, where necessary.
  • Solution focused.
  • Manage relationships with customers, ensuring effective communication and resolution of any credit issues.
  • Responding promptly to all client queries
  • Maintaining strong relationships with our clients
  • Suggesting areas for improvement from a processes and systems perspective
  • Ad hoc reports and analysis and wider team assistance when required.
  • Able to deal with senior stakeholders in the business.
  • Ability to attend client meetings, where required.
