Infopro Digital Group are recruiting for a talented and motivated Assistant Accountant to join our team on a permanent basis in Haynes Group Limited, who sit within Infopro Digital’s Automotive division. Infopro is a global organisation with 4,000 employees based in 18 Countries and a turnover of €550 million.
This will be a broad-based role supporting the provision of accounting services to our B2B businesses. There will be a mixture of management accounts preparation and balance sheet responsibilities, as well as the opportunity to get involved in the budgeting and forecasting process.
This job is located in our offices in Sparkford, Somerset, UK. It is anticipated that after a short period of training, the role can be completed with a mix of office-based and homeworking. This is a permanent full time role.
Responsibilities
• Work with AUKUS Management Accountant on month-end & report production
• Assistance with preparation of monthly management accounts
• Monthly sales reporting and sales deferral calculations within group deadlines
• Monthly reconciliation of balance sheet control accounts for specific UK entities
• Maintenance and development of Sales Forecast model
• Assisting with preparation of budgets and forecasts for AUKUS entities
• Inter Company Reconciliation of month end balances and monthly invoices
• Bad Debt Review
• Providing cover for credit controller as required, including preparation of Direct Debit collections
• Support to Accounts Receivables and Payables functions as required
• Responding to queries and requests for information from external auditors
• Ad hoc tasks as required.
Requirements
Key Tasks/Attributes
All necessary background research, preparation of schedules, liaison with internal colleagues and external advisers to enable the satisfactory completion of the above job responsibilities. Including:
• Part-Qualified - ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or Level 4 AAT)
• Excellent Excel skills
• Excellent Analytical skills
• Team player and willingness for 'hands-on' approach
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy of outputs
• Keen to add value and identify opportunities for improvement
• The need to identify and respect confidential information
