Forseven, a revolutionary company is looking to transform the EV industry through cutting-edge technology and innovative engineering practices, are seeking a Finance Analyst to join our highly skilled and dynamic Finance department.

We have an exciting role working within the Programme team. Reporting to a Senior Finance Manager, you will partner with business functions and collaborate with the whole finance team.

• Programme:

o Business Partner with the Programme, Engineering, Purchasing & Design teams

o Manage the financial impact of programme changes and new products or features on development costs and bill of materials

The role will operate in a hybrid capacity out of our offices in Shalford, Guildford where the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most visionary minds in the automotive field.

This is a newly created positions and you will be one of the first hires in your team. As a recently part/qualified accountant, you will benefit from the mentorship of the finance leadership and have the opportunity to develop professionally as the company grows.

What you will do:

• Prepare budgets, track spend, analyse variances and update forecasts

• Analyse key projects and help prepare business cases to understand costs/benefits and deliver value for money

• Perform month-end processes, including correct accounting treatment of prepayments, leases, deposits and capital expenditure, working closely with the Financial Control team

• Help maintain strong governance and control on departmental spend

• Play a key role in the budgeting, forecasting and long-term business planning processes, collaborating across finance teams

• Business partner with key stakeholders in the business providing clear financials, and value adding analysis

Who you are:

• Part/Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)

• Analytical and system focussed

• Willing to roll up sleeves as required and adapt to change

• Experience in Management Accounting, Finance Business Partnering or FP&A

• Intermediate to Advanced Excel; comfortable using it as primary tool and enjoying finding creative solutions to achieve desired result

• Basic knowledge of PowerQuery / PowerBI; excited to use and learn more about these tools
