Financial Analyst Job in Wimborne
Dovetail Recruitment are excited to be working with a company in Wimborne who are recruiting a new Financial Analyst to join their friendly team. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for the provision of management and financial accounting information in order to support the needs of the business. As well as, assisting in the production of financial reporting information for statutory accounts.

Duties & Responsibilities of the Financial Analyst:
* Prepare standard monthly management information to the agreed format, timeline and quality.
* Compare monthly performance against budget and communicate with budget owners to understand the variances.
* Monitor ratios and KPIs within company and regulatory limits.
* Support the updates of financial policy and corporate plan.
* Assist in the preparation of financial risk policy and procedures as well as ICAAP and ILAAP
* Undertake specific finance projects as required and assist with financial aspect of all projects within the company.
* Provide cover for daily reporting and reconciliations.
* Support company treasury function.
* Assist with maintaining ledger and monitoring of budgets.
* Carry out ad-hoc analysis to support business decision making.
* Delivering and/or supporting the implementation of projects
Knowledge & Experience:
* Part-qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
* Good understanding of financial risks in a financial services organisation.
* Strong communication and presentation skills
* Advanced Excel skills
