We’re looking for a Finance Manager to help support the growth of our expanding agency.
Eight &Four Group Finance is a four person team who currently supports four group agencies as a central support function with end to end financial reporting. We are looking for a Finance Manager able to work with all agencies and be responsible for financial accounts. You will report into the Head of Finance. This is a hands on role and we are looking for someone who can work independently, who is a self starter and who wants to take a next step in their career. We ideally need someone who understands marketing and advertising sector, however your ability to work with different personalities and agencies is a key!

You will be responsible for:
Reporting
- Manage structured budget and forecasting processes, (e.g., income, utilisation) in order to provide transparency of financial performance
- Follow detailed financial controls, procedures and timelines of the Group
- Support the financial development of client proposals
- Oversee the profitability of client projects
Transactional
o Prepare monthly accounts:
- Month End process including accruals, prepayments, Fixed Asset Register & balance sheet reconciliation to Trial Balance reported to Head of Finance on monthly basis
- Assist Account Handling team with ad hoc queries or reconciliations
o Input and maintain detailed financial records. Specifically responsible for:
- Accounts payable - Processing supplier Invoices for eight&four, managing supplier account queries
- Accounts receivable - Raising & finalising sales invoices, sending to client & updating income forecast
- Credit control - Ensure all client invoices are paid on time
- Work in progress management
- Credit card, Staff and Pleo expense report processing
- Cashbook and supplier payments
Requirements
- Proactive planner who is super organised, with bags of initiative
- Solution oriented, not waiting to be spoonfed instructions
- Ability to work quickly, flexibly and independently
- Love the buzz of an entrepreneurial creative agency environment
- An excellent communicator, both written and verbal
- Strong numeracy skills with Analytical problem-solving approach
- Detail oriented with an inquisitive mind
- Work well under pressure
- Decent, kind & well mannered - keen to build strong personal relationships
Ideally you will have:
- Experience in marketing and advertising sector
- Extensive experience working with Paprika
- Be part or fully qualified
