Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, payroll, and utilities.
- Ensure the accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions in Tally.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
- Conduct periodic audits and ensure compliance with all financial regulations and company policies.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and financial controls.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure timely filing.
- Handle complex accounting issues specific to the generators and solar systems industry.
Skills Required
- Chartered Accountant (CA) certification.
- Proven experience as a CA in the generators and solar systems industry is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP software.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with GST, TDS, and other tax compliance in India.
- Familiarity with financial modelling and forecasting.
- Prior experience in a similar role within the power sector.
