Reference: DBN002629-LP-1Opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager to oversee a group of companies, based in Hillcrest. Ideally seeking a candidate with a background in the retail or manufacturing sector.
Key Responsibilities:Financial Planning and Analysis:

Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning.
Conduct variance analysis against budgets and forecasts.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

Lead the annual budgeting process.
Monitor and report on budget performance, providing insights and recommendations for cost management.
Develop long-term financial forecasts.

Cash Flow Management:

Manage cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds.
Monitor working capital, accounts payable, and receivable.

Financial Reporting:

Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
Present financial results to senior management and stakeholders.

Internal Controls and Compliance:

Develop, implement, and monitor internal financial controls.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and legislation.

Team Leadership:

Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team.
Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Strategic Support:

Provide financial insights and support for strategic initiatives and business decisions.
Evaluate and recommend improvements to business processes and financial performance.

Risk Management:

Identify and mitigate financial risks.
Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
Proven experience as a Finance Manager, preferably in the retail or manufacturing sector.
Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
High level of integrity and dependability.
