Account Manager
Our client in the Clothing Manufacturing industry is currently looking for an Account Manager, in Paarl, Cape Town.

- Manage the account from inception to delivery. Delivering high-quality service to the customer is vital to retaining and growing business and relationships.
- Serving as the lead contact for all customer account management matters, establishing and maintaining strong, long-lasting client relationships, negotiating contracts, and closing agreements to maximize profits for the company.
- Developing trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors.
- The timely and successful delivery of their solutions based on the needs and objectives of customers.
- Communicate clearly to internal and external stakeholders the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives.
- Meeting sales quotas by developing new business with existing clients and/or identifying areas of improvement.
- Identify and monitor key account metrics (e.g., quarterly forecasts and sales results).
- Prepare status reports for accounts.
- Identify, develop, and grow opportunities within the territory in collaboration with the sales team.
- Assist in challenging client requests or escalating issues as necessary.
Requirements:
- A Degree in Business Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related field will be advantageous.
- Proven Account Management or other relevant experience.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- 5+ years of Marketing experience.
- Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment.
- Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability, and maturity.
- Ability to prioritize competing tasks.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time and project management skills.
- Keen attention to detail and deadline adherence.
- Computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on superior Excel skills.
- Prospecting skills, teamwork, planning, building relationships, people skills, self-management, customer focus, emphasizing excellence and managing multiple projects.
Remuneration:
- R25 000 - R30 000 per month.
