Our client in the Clothing Manufacturing industry is currently looking for an Account Manager, in Paarl, Cape Town.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the account from inception to delivery. Delivering high-quality service to the customer is vital to retaining and growing business and relationships.
  • Serving as the lead contact for all customer account management matters, establishing and maintaining strong, long-lasting client relationships, negotiating contracts, and closing agreements to maximize profits for the company.
  • Developing trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors.
  • The timely and successful delivery of their solutions based on the needs and objectives of customers.
  • Communicate clearly to internal and external stakeholders the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives.
  • Meeting sales quotas by developing new business with existing clients and/or identifying areas of improvement.
  • Identify and monitor key account metrics (e.g., quarterly forecasts and sales results).
  • Prepare status reports for accounts.
  • Identify, develop, and grow opportunities within the territory in collaboration with the sales team.
  • Assist in challenging client requests or escalating issues as necessary.

Requirements:
  • A Degree in Business Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related field will be advantageous.
  • Proven Account Management or other relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • 5+ years of Marketing experience.
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment.
  • Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability, and maturity.
  • Ability to prioritize competing tasks.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent time and project management skills.
  • Keen attention to detail and deadline adherence.
  • Computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on superior Excel skills.
  • Prospecting skills, teamwork, planning, building relationships, people skills, self-management, customer focus, emphasizing excellence and managing multiple projects.

Remuneration:
  • R25 000 - R30 000 per month.
