Duties & Responsibilities
Here are some of your Responsibilities
- Set up costing reports and send to Cost Accountant for review and approval.
- Monitoring expenditures of various projects to ensure that they are within their budgetary limits
- Maintain database of costs for various types of raw materials by benchmarking costs of items.
- Estimate manufacturing methods/times and material costs using the relevant database.
- Conduct variance analysis when a variance is reported by a relevant stakeholder
- Update calculation spreadsheets when new or improved manufacturing processes are established.
- Computing costs and calculating rates for goods, services, and shipment of goods
- 2- 3 years Costing Experience
- Experience working in the manufacturing space
- Experience using sage evolution (Beneficial)
- Problem solving
- Basic accounting knowledge
- Report writing
- Communication - ability to communicate with all types of people at different levels
- Relationship building skills
- Interactive skills
- Computer Literacy: Microsoft Office Suite
- Numerical skills
- Document tracking skills
- Verbal and Written communication skills
