Business / Finanical Controller (Business Adminsitration Manager)Duties & ResponsibilitiesAs the Business / Finanical Controller (Business Adminsitration Manager)r, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive support and strategic feedback to Executive and Senior Management. You will be responsible for ensuring the seamless integration of financial management, human capital strategies, and operational efficiency across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Oversight:
    • Oversee company fiscal activities, including forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and auditing.
    • Analyze company liabilities and investments, identifying and responding to risks and opportunities.
    • Ensure consistent cash flow aligned with operational needs and revenue growth objectives.
    • Review financial reporting and champion process optimization and cost reduction opportunities.
    • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Procurement and Compliance:
    • Manage Accounts Payable for both local and overseas transactions.
    • Lead procurement functions including vendor contracts and enterprise and supplier development.
    • Act as the Customs Control representative for the local entity and ensure freight compliance.
    • Manage treasury and banking activities, oversee tax and IFRS reporting, and ensure BBBEE compliance.
  • Human Capital Development:
    • Direct and manage the development of financial and procurement personnel.
    • Collaborate with HR to implement effective human capital strategies that support business objectives.
  • Operational Support:
    • Manage global shared services activities to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Review contractual agreements, clarify commercial terms and conditions, and support order management.
    • Address ad hoc operational topics to support ongoing business needs.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience (X+ years) in a similar role within a {specific industry} environment.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, and financial analysis.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills.
  • Solid knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
