- A minimum of 5 years of related experience is required.
- Bachelor of Commerce qualification with completed Articles.
- Computer literacy in Sage Accounting Software, MS Word, Excel, E-mail.
- Knowledge and understanding of the principles, regulations and legislation pertaining to sound accountancy practice.
1. Preparation of Financial Reports:
- Preparation of monthly group management Accounts.
- Preparation of business unit, divisional, departmental and regional management accounts.
- And all other related reports.
- Preparation of monthly group operational reports and analytical reports.
- Preparation of business unit, divisional, departmental and regional operational reports.
- Receive all budgetary inputs.
- Consolidate into total group budget.
- Preparation in compliance with relevant standards and legislation of the following returns: Income Tax, PAYE, UIF, VAT, Workmans' Compensation and any other related returns.
- Confirm compliance to relevant legislation and accounting policies
- Manage, mentor and coach subordinates.
- Evaluate subordinate performance.
- Maintain the daily cash planning and control process in terms of receipts, loading and releasing payments.
- Ensure cash flow reports on daily basis to CFO, Financial Manager and management.
- Report & analyse significant developments to Senior Management.
- Ensure cash is planned to enable the organisation to support all payments necessary to maintain all functions and maximise business opportunities.
