Our client, a leading manufacturer, has a vacancy for a SYSPRO Senior Credit Controller who displays commitment, drive and passion
Duties & Responsibilities

• Vetting by assessing risk for new & existing customers
• Timeous and prompt collection of customer payments on or before due dates with no cost to the business, e.g. additional discounts
• Reduction of overdue balances (Invoices & Claims), in consultation with the respective Business Units, the Call Centre and the Depots, using an up-to-date
• Age Analysis, daily application and allocation of payment, processing and allocation of approved credit notes
• Daily credit risk assessment for escalation where the business is exposed with the daily management of suspended orders
• Customer Master Data (CMD) Integrity, e.g. correct and up-to-date data is maintained as approved and aligned with business needs
• Ad hoc projects as the need arises
• Interaction with all Business Units

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Grade 12
• Tertiary qualification in Finance or ICMSA Certified Credit Management
• Minimum 3 years in similar role i.e. Credit Control within the FMCG industry
• Exposure with credit control management of chain stores, wholesale, distributors, buying groups, independent and informal trade
• Experience in both open items and balance brought forward customer reconciliations
• SYSPRO experience is critical
• Fully computer literate in MS Office, preferably Excel - Intermediate to Advance.
