On behalf of our client, an established aerospace tier 1 manufacturer, we’re seeking a confident Accounts Payable Clerk to join their ever-growing team in Hinckley. This role is ideal for candidates with a minimum of 1-2 years experience in a similar role who are looking to further their career in a dynamic company.
Key
Responsibilities:
* Invoice Processing: Handle a range of incoming invoices and credits for suppliers and intercompany transactions.
* Ledger Reconciliation: Reconcile supplier ledger accounts to statements and clear aged GRNI in a timely manner.
* Supplier Communication: Raise supplier reject paperwork and resolve queries in collaboration with Supply Chain and Goods In teams.
* Payments: Manage fortnightly and ad hoc payments as required.
* Month-End Duties: Perform month-end duties as agreed with the Manager, ensuring accuracy and adherence to procedures and controls.
* Account Maintenance: Keep account information up to date and assist in maintaining the integrity of the financial records.
* Audit Support: Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation.
* Project Involvement: Participate in projects, offering process improvement suggestions and potentially presenting findings.
Qualifications:
* Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years experience in a similar role.
* Software Knowledge: Familiarity with Epicor is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
* Attention to Detail: Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
* Reconciliation Skills: Ability to reconcile accounts and handle complex financial data.
* Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Organisational Skills: Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
* Initiative: Must be confident and able to work on own initiative, with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.

Salary:
£25,000-£27,000 dependent on experience.
* Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday: 7.30am to 4.30pm, Friday: 7.30am - 12.30pm (Hybrid).
* Holiday: 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays.
* Pension: 4% employer contribution.
* Life Assurance: Death in service cover at 3 times salary.
* Parking: Onsite parking available
