Finance Assistant - Scunthorpe - 12 Month Contract - up to £25,000 (pro rata)

Chase & Holland are partnering with a leading engineering business who are looking for an experienced Finance Assistant to support the business through substantial period of growth which is set to continue.

Responsibilities:


Maintaining and managing purchase ledger accounts
Timely and accurate processing of purchase ledger invoices
Expense processing
Ensure vendor accounts are accurately reconciled
Manage any vendor queries
Allocating payments
Maintaining spend registers in supporting control of major expenditure such as transport and energy costs
Assist with month end and year end closing processes
Other ad hoc finance support including holiday cover
Required Skills & Experience:

Previous experience of working with purchase ledger and cash book transactions are required
Experience in Sage will be an advantage
Excellent organisational and people skills are keys to succeed in this role
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel
