Accounts Receivable Assistant - £15.72ph plus holiday pay - Central London

Immediate start for two months initially, extension possible

Join a dynamic finance team as an Accounts Receivable Assistant! You'll play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth operations within the organization.

Your responsibilities will include timely entry of receipts, invoice production, credit control, and providing top-notch customer service. You'll also handle data entry tasks, ensuring compliance with financial procedures. YOU MUST HAVE PREVIOUS AGRESSO EXPERIENCE IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Prepare and process sundry sales invoices.

* Ensure correct VAT coding for all transactions.

* Liaise with staff and external parties to confirm receipt of funds and resolve queries.

* Download and post credit items from online banking.

* Allocate funds accurately, including liaising with various departments to identify payments.

* Provide support to the Senior Accounts Receivable Assistant and cover their duties as needed.

* Maintain and update foreign exchange rates and respond to financial queries.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

* Experience in an Accounts Receivables team.

* Proficiency with computers and spreadsheets.

* A-level education or equivalent.

* High accuracy and efficiency in work.

* Strong commitment to customer service.

* Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

* Basic understanding of double-entry bookkeeping.

* Experience with Agresso Financials.

* Previous university or higher education accounts receivable experience.

* Advanced Excel skills.

* AAT qualification or equivalent (desirable).

* Multi-currency environment experience (desirable)
