Bookkeeper required for a renowned accounting firm based in East London, Eastern Cape
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining our clients' financial records accurately and efficiently.
Requirements:
Previous work experience within an accounting firm
Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Qualifications:
Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
Experience in preparing financial statements and reports.
Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
