As the General Manager of Enterprise Risk, you will report to our Chief Risk Officer. Leading a team of risk professionals, you will be responsible for strategic thought leadership, setting the direction and shaping the future of risk management at Kiwibank. You will enhance the current environment, such as how we report to the Board, delivering change and demonstrating how risk can influence and change our Transformation journey.
In this role you will spearhead improvements in enterprise risk assessment, drive best practices in risk management, and refine our risk appetite. You'll also enhance how different functions consider and report their risks.
Kiwibank has a great culture, and this role will be pivotal in ensuring that everyone at Kiwibank understands the role of risk in their work. You will create clear communications about risk—both internally and externally—and deliver tools that reinforce this understanding.

We would love to hear from you if you have some of the following:
- Senior leadership experience in Banking, Financial Services or Big4 with Risk or risk adjacent expertise.
- A leader known for fostering a supportive and inspirational environment, operating with a growth mindset.
- Tactical and strategic decision-making abilities.
- Proven track record in change management, optimising processes, and systems for efficiency, with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Proven success delivering strategic risk programmes or changing the organisation's culture.
- Strong engagement and communication skills and being able to confidently embed key messages at all levels.
- Strong relationship management and influencing skills, building trust with internal and external stakeholders.
