About the role

Are you an experienced Finance Business Partner looking to take the next step in your career, who has experience working in Financial Services? If you want to make the move to an organisation with an amazing culture and great team environment, then this is the job for you!

Reporting to the Head of Decision Support, a proven business partner with strong analytical skills who can use their critical thinking ability and strong commercial acumen to guide, influence, challenge and proactively inform key business decisions that support both the Southern Cross leadership team and their senior leadership teams. The Senior Finance Business Partner - Pet, supports the commercial decisions and financial planning process that enable the Southern Cross Pet Insurance leadership team to achieve strategic objectives.

About you: 

You are an energetic, passionate and curious individual with a thirst for knowledge and growth. Ideally you will also have:

• A tertiary degree in a relevant discipline, i.e., finance, accounting, actuarial, economics, statistics, mathematics.
• Previous experience in a business partner and analytics role essential, pricing experience beneficial.
• A proven leader who has advanced communication skills and the ability to translate financial concepts across all levels of the business.
• People management experience preferred.
• The ability to build strong, trusted relationships with your business stakeholders and team.
