Manager, Deals Transaction Services – Financial Analytics and Derivatives (Multiple Positions), PwC US Business Advisory LLP, San Jose, CA. Assist clients to realize the potential of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and capital markets. Provide customized valuations of complex securities across the capital markets spectrum, as well as risk management and hedging assessments. Evaluate business plans and company strategies against market performance and competitor strength, to deliver commercial appraisals. Help clients to ensure maximum value for their company. Assist companies to originate, create, execute and realize value from deals. Establish and maintain client relationships and professional networks. Supervise and coach teams.
40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Salary: $160,638/yr.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Business Administration, Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field, plus 5 years of post-bachelor’s, progressive related work experience.
In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Business Administration, Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Economics or a related field, plus 3 years of related work experience.
Must have at least one year of experience with each of the following:
- Developing valuation models using option pricing theory, Monte Carlo simulation, binomial trees, contingent claims analysis or other financial engineering techniques to be applied to valuing financial instruments;
- Performing quantitative and qualitative valuation-related analyses and modelling by utilizing Excel VBA, Matlab, Bloomberg or Fincad;
- Preparing memoranda or reports that translate and communicate technical findings and recommendations to clients; and
- Working with project teams and engagements that focus on financial modelling, derivatives, securities valuation, and/or risk management.
80% telecommuting permitted. Must be able to commute to the designated local office.
Travel requirement(s): Domestic and/or international travel up to 80% required.
