We are thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for an Accountant to join a rapidly expanding manufacturing company.

Key

Responsibilities:


Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts, including Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow statements, and Variance Analysis.
Support business managers by providing profitability, KPI, production, and cost summary reports.
Completing HMRC returns,
Reviewing and authorising bank payments
Liaising with external auditors to prepare and review audit schedules while leading the audit process to ensure regulatory compliance.
Leading the budgeting and forecasting processes
Preparing financial projections
Assisting in the development of financial models
Monitor and report on financial performance against budgets and forecasts
Support the careful monitoring and management of working capital
Provide support for evaluating capital investment opportunities, ensure capital expenditure proposals are properly reviewed and evaluated, and conduct post-spend analysis of approved and implemented capital investments.

The Successful Candidate will have:

Experience in preparing management accounts and related financial reports.
Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.
Familiarity with HMRC returns and regulatory compliance.
Proven experience in leading audit processes and liaising with external auditors.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
