IntroductionAn agricultural commodity trading company in Pretoria East is looking for a detail-oriented, efficient Financial Controller to join their team. Job Purpose The Financial Controller oversees the day-to-day activities of the finance and back-office team and ensures the company's finance function is organised and efficient and financial and operational controls are effectively designed, implemented, and adhered to. Furthermore, assists the Financial Manager in processing, preparing, and reviewing accurate and up-to-date management accounts. Minimum qualifications (essential): B Com Accounting / Internal Audit degree (or equivalent) Minimum qualifications (desirable): Further qualification in Risk Management would be advantageous. Required experience (years): 2-4 years Required nature of experience: Experience managing a small teamExperience within the Grain industry will be advantageous.Financial control and previous management reporting. Skills and knowledge: Pastel - SAGE AccountingSolid understanding of accounting and accounting software principlesComputer literate with excellent MS Office skills, especially Excel.
